1995年开始的18个月的fieldwork，没有靠地方政府和学术机构，惊叹了。

周越老师研究宗教有很深的人类学底色，关注人多，关注结构少，但这不能否认他的“Doing”一词特别有解释力，因为do是在讲how，是在讲形式上的东西，非常的practice，这种practice虽然别的研究中会展现，但是他是有意识在说，很难得。-ji zhe

有用的references很多，另外书里涉及的text, legitimacy的话题在power and calligraphy in contemporary Chinese society里面讨论的很详细。两本书好象都是05年出来的啊~~
