Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards. 前半部构造的概念内核酷似小林泰三的《醉步男》，时间不过是大脑记忆构造而成的虚像，生死与爱恨在记忆替换的刹那都能改变。叙事手法很好，但新点子还是少了些。

前面的世界构建很好，后面强行煽情而且时间穿越的构建也非常的模糊。和这个作者另一本Dark matter简直是一样的recipe。枉我开篇还觉得好像这本书会不一样，然后看到一半突然被强行塞了一部好莱坞大片…但是认真说，翻拍成电影可以催泪的。

真不愧是剧作家，写出来的作品和电影一样画面感强。虽然平行宇宙和时间旅行是科幻一写再写的主题，但这本书的构思很巧妙，基本假设合理，机制设计较为经得住推敲，情节推进稳健不拖沓，内容丰富，曲折耐读，语言晓畅优美。到最后记忆重来的时候略有矛盾，但瑕不掩瑜。只是大团圆结局略显俗套乏味。

很精彩 恨不得一下看完 False Memory Syndrome这个创造还是非常新颖有意思的
