布兰登·桑德森（Brandon Sanderson）：
1975年12月19日生于美国内布拉斯加州（Nebraska）首府林肯（Lincoln），现居犹他州的欧瑞市（Orem），任教于杨百翰大学（Brigham Young University）。
作者的首部小说《伊岚翠》，2005年甫一出版即获得《浪漫时代》（Romantic Times）奇幻史诗大奖，作者也连续2006、2007年两年入选美国科奇幻界地位最高的新人奖项——约翰·坎伯新人奖，《伊岚翠》更被邦诺书店（Barnes & Noble）列为头号选书。
作者还陆续出版了《迷雾之子三部曲》（Mistborn），均与全球著名的奇幻出版社Tor签约。
后《哈里·波特》的美国出版社Scholastic以高价买下作者其他所有奇幻作品的版权。

奇幻版革命史。读的时候好几首悲惨世界的歌在脑子里转，毫无违和。
Sanderson是真的不会写romance，但是写duel是真的厉害。u1s1，这个剧情其实很边缘ya cliche啊…但是world building足够好，勉强忽略女主疑似玛丽苏的设定了
