作品非常全，我很喜欢书中特别强调的各个设计之间的联系，从中可以瞥见一个想法是如何走向成熟的。不过作品的介绍和图少了一点，如果建成的作品的资料再多一点就好了。藤本有很多新的想法，早期的比赛对于人，建筑，城市的关系提出了很多问题，然而在一些的比较新的设计里，至少这本书里，并没有展现出关于那些问题的令人信服的解答。这令我多少有点觉得他有点为创新而创新的感觉。
