He has been both a professor and an executive: he was Vice President of Advanced Technology at Apple; his company, the Nielsen Norman Group, helps companies produce human-centered products and services; he has been on the faculty at Harvard, the University of California, San Diego, Northwestern University, and KAIST, in South Korea. He is the author of many books, including The Design of Everyday Things, The Invisible Computer (MIT Press, 1998), Emotional Design, and The Design of Future Things.

前半部分很精彩，很有收获，也给了很多非常贴切的生活里的例子，但200页后我真的举步艰难…老爷子如自己所说，真的挺啰嗦的
U should be bloody smart.
从Don Norman的书里面学到的核心思想是：好的design源于观察生活。当然还是它早期的书感觉更powerful。。。
