在我看来这本书不是单纯的讲述lgbt的问题，而是讲述一个青少年如何不断去纠正自我的认知，寻找自我的路径。之所以这本书能够这么契合自己的原因在于，自己和ari当时一样迷茫的不知所措。他不断的询问自己那一点点不舒服的感觉来源于哪里，我同样想知道那种不契合的点是从何而来。但至少ari最后找到了原因，而对于现在的自己而言，lgbt的问题根本没有复杂到不可解，而别的一些无法言明的问题可能更吞噬人心。
