很有意思，Toobin是旗帜鲜明的自由派，却对Justice O’Connor青睐有加，甚至超过那几位自由派的法官。

写的很好的书。细节引人入胜。也验证了我的一个判断。最高法院对一些争议问题的裁决 基本上是反映了当时的政治生态。（美国政治的周期问题 可参考小施莱辛格的那本书） 三权分立在现实中的操作性是有限的。
