纳塔莉·巴比特，儿童文学作家和插图画家。出生于美国俄亥俄州。从小喜欢阅读童话和神话，并且受母亲的影响热爱绘画。曾在史密斯大学学习美术。婚后她为丈夫创作的童书《第四十九位魔术师》绘制插画，受到编辑鼓励而开始自写自画并尝试写小说，一写就是四十年。

1975年出版的《不老泉》让她备受赞赏，《 纽约时报》评价她“毫无疑问是我们一位最有天赋和抱负的儿童文学作家”。这部经典小说获奖无数，并于1981年和2002年两度被改编成电影。

nothing everlasting

Everything's a wheel, turning and turning, never stopping.

差不多是看懂的第一本英文小说(初中时老师推荐给我的，大概因为很短易懂)。里面的感情比DISNEY电影中的朦胧青涩得多。
