齐格弗里德·克拉考尔（Siegfried Kracauer，1899－1966）德国著名电影理论家，生于莱茵河畔法兰克福，卒于美国纽约。早年做过报刊编辑，1933年因遭纳粹迫害流亡国外，开始艺术史的研究。1941年定成美国，进行电影史和电影理论的研究。著作有《电影的本性》、《宣传和纳粹战争片》和《从卡里加利到希特勒》等。

Kracauer真的是一个super organized的人，从摄影的历史切入讲电影理论，把从摄影到电影对于真实的表现的各个层面整理的条理分明、有理有据。Super organize很多时候也会有种少了一些热情的感觉。不过，Kracauer也有很多细节的、私人的观点，比如他多次提到Proust的描述是多么先锋地提前表达出了摄影和电影才有的独特性，很是有趣～
