爱德华·杰伊·爱波斯坦，美国记者、作家。曾于康奈尔大学与哈佛大学研习政治学，并于1973年取得哈佛大学的博士学位。他曾在麻省理工学院与加州大学洛杉矶分校教授政治科学，但后来却决定从事写作，因为他认为写作更像是一桩教育事业。《好莱坞电影经济的内幕》收录了爱波斯坦在《纽约客》《华尔街日报》《金融时报》《页岩》等杂志上发表的专栏文章，这是他的第十四部著作。
译者
郑志祥，于美国得克萨斯州大学达拉斯分校取得企管硕士学位，对于商业、数字、艺术以及人文领域皆有浓厚之兴趣。曾任职于半导体产业，现职为自由译者。另译有《约翰·豪尔的奇幻艺术工作坊》《生存任务：诸神的黄金》等书。
